In-Person Private Lessons

Private In-Person Lessons are available in the NYC area and are the fastest way to see progress. I teach in the Flatiron District of Manhattan and in Astoria, Queens. Home visits can be arranged on an as-needed basis. In-Person Lessons are 45 minutes long and include gentle hands-on contact to help guide you as you move in an out of a chair, walk around the room, and lie down. These simple explorations are a window to deeper discovery!

First lessons require prior 15 minute free consultation.

Virtual Private Lessons

Virtual private lessons are a fantastic option for those who do not live in the NYC area, but are still looking for immediate 1x1 feedback. Virtual Lessons are 30 minutes long and are conducted over Google Meet. Contact me to schedule a virtual session.

Testimonials

  • "Serena exudes an admirable quality of focus and lightness in her practice. She brings me into the process of change through the experience of small but meaningful adjustments in how I stand, how I walk, how I move, and where I can learn to let go of habits of tension that get in my way.”

Genia Gould, Alexander Technique Teacher in Training

  • "Serena's generosity, clarity, and direction as a teacher of Alexander and mindfulness coach has been a tremendous gift during a year of personal and professional transition. Her ability to notice what's new and what's changing in my body each session and to reflect those things back to me has allowed me to further deepen and expand my personal Alexander practice. She's also so much fun to work with, making seemingly complicated concepts into easily approachable and applicable somatic experiences."

    Marianna Gailus, Actor

  • “I started taking weekly lessons with Serena after a serious ankle injury in 2021. Serena brings her personal enthusiasm and dedication to the Alexander Technique to her lessons and it continues to help me work through my various injuries and health struggles. I look forward to the feeling of physical freedom a lesson with Serena gives me after a long day of work.”
